Aim of the Workshop:

To give participants the skills and knowledge required to successfully coach individuals to achieve agreed results and objectives.

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define the benefits that can be achieved from coaching
  • Define coaching and the role of the coach
  • Identify factors that affect people's performance
  • Use the BECKS model as a means of identifying factors which may affect a learners performance
  • Apply the GROW coaching model as a framework for the coaching process
  • Further develop the skills required for effective coaching
  • Identify and minimise potential barriers to effective coaching.
