A two-day workshop.
Aim of the Workshop:
To enable delegates to understand themselves and the impact they have on others in the workplace, allowing them to identify and understand others behaviours and their ways of working.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe their present state and how this can impact on others in our workplace
- Ensure that our relationship management / styles and behaviours help us to work effectively with our teams and colleagues
- Explain the process of human communication, individuals perceptions, their beliefs and values and the impact on actions and behaviours
- Practically apply communication strategies when working in teams, managing conflict and providing effective feedback
- Influence effectively using assertion and questioning skills.
Outline Programme:
Day 1
- Welcome and introduction
- Understanding and managing our own state and the impact we can have on others
- Effective communication through understanding our own and others filtering processes
- How beliefs and values impact on our performance and behaviour
- Working with others effectively in team and group scenarios
- Providing constructive feedback
- Dealing with conflict and resolution techniques.
Day 2
- Review of Learning
- Effective relationship management using leadership models and techniques
- Coaching skills & the use of effective questioning
- Influencing through the use of assertive behaviours
- Managing healthy working relationships through time management and effective prioritisation
- Individual Action Planning
- Workshop evaluation and summary.
