
Aspire Housing provides over 12,000 customers with affordable homes across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire. Established in 2002 and now employing over 350 employees, the company is a non-profit making Registered Social Landlord.
Recognising that growth and success would come from developing its workforce capability, the company wished to create and embed a learning culture. We used the Investors in People National Standard as the framework to assess the priority areas for development. By undertaking a diagnostic exercise with the senior management team, an organisational development plan was created.
A number of initiatives were then delivered, including: an internal Coach Development Programme, support on designing an internal Management Development Programme, plus the design and delivery of a Customer Care Programme to all employees.
